"Plaça de Sant IU" was constructed on top of ruins and had been changed for many different purposes during its history.
Working with a interdisciplinary group from IED Design University of Barcelona, we generated an ephemeral installation capable of detecting the movement of the people in the square. Movement was transformed in to violet light. In contrast, the static movement of the past was reflected in blue tones never changed. If the square was empty, any violet would appear... In this way, present and past, history and life was shown through light by all our dna.
Special mention to Space Simon and Fluvia for the lightning material.
